THE DYNAMIC DUO
William Chao and Jesse Chou met on the 40 acres of The University of Texas at Austin. On the surface, they were very different. William was an aspiring tech entrepreneur who geeked on startups and venture capital and Jesse was a daring photographer from Dallas, seeking the best shots in the downtown skyline. Despite their differences, the two shared a love for travel, video production, and extreme sports. With combined experience solo traveling Taiwan, Japan, and Colombia, they knew they needed each other to create meaningful content.
GETTING TO WORK
After a few frat parties, festival fence hops, and spring break in Cabo, the same skyscraper didn't seem as tall as before, and spring break, well, we wanted more of that. Sneaking into concerts pretending to be press photographers led to official press passes and more fake it till you make it moments until we decided to pursue video production seriously. With money saved up from the summer, we invested it all in flight tickets, camera equipment, and focused on producing quality content for clients in the US, betting on ourselves against a global pandemic.
WHAT'S IN THE NAME?
